Frequency of Lessons and Practice: Lessons are generally once a week for a half hour, given either remotely (Zoom, FaceTime), or in-person at my east side home. Regular attendance is very important in maintaining a student’s progress, as is regular practice. I recommend 20-30 minutes of daily practice for children in the early years (grades 5-8, generally) and 30-60+ minutes per day for high schoolers/more experienced players.
Lesson Times: Available lesson times fall into the below timeframes, generally. Please consider what timeframes might work best for you from among this list:
Payment and Missed Lessons: Payment is expected in advance or at the lesson, and students are welcome to pay either week-to-week or multiple lessons at a time. I only ask students to pay for actual lessons given. I do not require payment for missed weeks as long as the student (or student’s guardian) informs me in advance of the need to miss that week. I will also occasionally need to miss a week, and I try to give plenty of advance notice (at least 24 hours) whenever possible, via text, email, or phone.
